Often when learning about fitness you will come across a lot of people saying you need a lot of different things. So, what do you need?

In short? Nothing. The truth is supplements are just that, a supplement. They can be used if you are missing something from your diet or if you struggle to intake enough.

The most popular and useful supplement used is protein powder. Often people can struggle to get the amount of daily protein they need through diet alone. Thus, a quick protein shake is something that is a quick and easy method of getting that extra protein.

BCAA’s. Stay away. Often promoted by instagram fitness influencers, this product is a complete waste of money. This is because BCAA’s only refer to three of the nine amino acids that are needed to build muscle. They also don’t do anything to relief muscle soreness.
